Lauren's Big Weekend in Connecticut

Lauren had her first airplane trip last week; we went to Connecticut for my cousin Hillary's wedding. She did great on all of the flights, despite getting an ear infection. Our Alabama family was in attendance and Lauren was only put down to sleep, and sometimes not even then.

Linda Kay did most of the holding.

In the middle of wedding festivities, my Aunt Jane, the mother of the bride, threw a surprise baby shower for Lauren. Below, Lauren checks out a hedgehog made for her by Aunt Jane.

The whole family took turns holding her during the reception.

Lauren was a perfect angel the entire time. This trip confirmed what we already knew: we won the baby lottery.
